About Dr. Mark Weinstein

Dr. Weinstein was born and raised in New Jersey. He graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, where he double-majored in Geophysical Sciences and Biological Sciences.
He then obtained his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, now known as Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School.
After medical school, he completed residency training in Pediatrics at New Jersey Medical School, and later, a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology. During his fellowship, he served as both Chief Fellow and President of the Residency Council.

Awards, Research, and Leadership

    Clemens von Pirquet Award: Dr. Weinstein was recognized for his research in the field of urticaria (hives), receiving the prestigious Clemens von Pirquet award from the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology in 2008.
    Published Research: His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.
    Climate Change Research: He has also presented research on the impact of climate change on pollen levels in the New York Metropolitan area.
    Leadership: From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Weinstein was elected president of the New Jersey Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society.
    Teaching: He continues to teach future doctors and allergists as an Assistant Professor at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School.
